Your comforter deserves a real deep clean.

You straighten the room and it looks fine, but there is still that nagging feeling something in the air is off.

Comforters, couch covers, and curtains quietly soak up dust, allergens, pet dander, kid spills, food smells, and those “mystery” stains you keep pretending not to see, so it never feels truly fresh, no matter how much you clean.

We treat comforters, couch covers, table cloths, and curtains in a way regular cleaning cannot, pulling out the hidden buildup that has been sitting inside them for months or even years. Your fabrics feel lighter, the whole room feels clearer, and when someone is waiting at the door, you feel proud to welcome them in.

What happens once you walk in.

Here’s what to expect once you walk through the door.

  1. 01

    Drop it off

Walk in and hand it to us at the counter, or pull through the drive-thru and pass it through the window without leaving the car.

  2. 02

    Tell us what you see

Point out every stain and tell us how you like things done, and we write it all on your ticket. If something looks like it may not come out, we’ll say so right there at the counter.

  3. 03

We tell you when it’ll be ready

We’ll give you the pick-up day at the counter so you know exactly when to come back.

  4. 04

    Pick it up

It’ll be covered and on the hanger, waiting at the counter or at the window, whichever’s easier.

A few things worth knowing before you come in.

  • Point out any spots or stains when you drop off so we don’t miss them.
  • Bag it loosely so the fabric can breathe on the way in.
  • If it needs a repair as well as a clean, let us know at the counter.

What we’ll say to you straight.

  • Heavy urine or smoke isn’t an automatic no, but we’ll talk it through before we start. It may take longer and sometimes affects the cost.
  • Hard rugs that can’t bend don’t fit the machine, so we can’t take those. Flexible small to medium rugs we can. Electric blankets we can’t take.
  • Foam toppers are taken apart, cleaned piece by piece, then sewn back together with the same sutures. That takes more than two days, up to a week, and there’s an extra charge for the work involved.

The things people usually ask before they come in.

Can you help if my comforter has pet hair, dander, or light odors?

Yes, we can usually help with that. Comforters with pet hair, dander, or light “pet home” odors are cleaned through our regular professional process. If we see that a comforter needs a little extra attention, we may run it through an additional cycle, which can add a bit more time. Most comforters are ready in about two days. If your item needs extra cleaning, it may take a little longer, and in some cases there may be an additional charge because of the extra steps involved. If there is ever a concern about very strong odors (like heavy urine or smoke), we will talk it through with you first so you know what to expect.

What types of household items can I bring in to be cleaned?

We clean a wide range of household items, especially comforters, which many people bring to us first. You can bring in comforters, duvets, regular blankets, mattress covers, bedspreads, sheets, and pillowcases. We can also help with many decorative pillows. For very detailed or delicate decorative pillows, we may ask you to sign a simple form before cleaning. We do not clean rugs, electric blankets, or memory foam toppers. If you are unsure about a specific item, you are always welcome to ask. We are happy to look at it and let you know how we can help.

Is it worth bringing in my household items, or should I just keep washing them at home?

Both options are completely fine. Many people wash their household items at home. Others bring them to us from time to time when they want a deeper clean, when the washing machine is not quite fixing the issue, or when they simply do not have the time to deal with it. If you are happy with how things turn out at home, that is perfectly okay. If you ever decide you would like some help with the larger or more stubborn items, we are here as an option, too.

Is there a size or weight limit on household items?

There isn’t one for bedding or curtains. Duvets, comforters, oversized throws, bring them in. Flexible rugs are fine too. Hard rugs aren’t, because they have to fit the machine. Foam toppers are taken with an extra charge. If you’ve been putting something off because it seemed too awkward, go ahead and bring it in.

Can I bring in leather or suede?

Yes, both are welcome. Leather and suede need different handling than fabric, and we know that going in. If you’ve got a leather jacket or a suede piece you’ve been nervous about cleaning at home, this is a safe place to bring it. We’ll look at what it needs before anything else happens.

Do you handle wedding dress preservation and boxing?

Yes, preservation and boxing both, for regular gowns and larger ones alike. Carmen has been sewing for 35 years, so this isn’t something that comes up once in a while and gets figured out on the spot. If you want your dress stored properly after the wedding, bring it in and we’ll walk you through exactly what’s involved.

Most cleaning is ready in about two days.

Alterations and foam toppers take up to a week. We’ll confirm the day when you drop off. We give you a day at the counter and we hold to it. If a piece needs more time, you hear it from us before you leave, not when you come back to pick it up. Around a public holiday, add one day. Not sure which day yours falls on? Call us and we’ll tell you before you make the drive. Read the full policies →
